Granite City Food & Brewery Opens in Kansas City, Missouri

MINNEAPOLIS, November 16, 2005 - Granite City Food & Brewery Ltd. (Nasdaq: GCFB) announced the opening yesterday of its 11th restaurant/microbrewery located in Kansas City, Missouri.

"We are located at the entrance of Zona Rosa which is an upscale lifestyle center in an open, urban setting offering shopping, dining and entertainment. Wagenheim said the company's developer is currently negotiating on additional sites in Nebraska, Wisconsin and Minnesota for continued expansion in 2006 and 2007.
